Rakhee

In 1959, a Bollywood movie named Dhool Ka Phool (Illegitimate Child) was released. The story revolves around a Muslim bringing up a “Illegitimate” Hindu child. Which featured a classic song “Tu Hindu banega na Musalman banega, insaan ki aulaad hai, insaan banega” In English it means “You’ll neither be a Hindu nor a Muslim, You’re the son of Human. You’ll become Human”

Irony is that, it seems they foresaw where the World was headed to and that’s exactly why that song was written for THE 21ST CENTURY SO CALLED “EDUCATED PEOPLE”.

Even during this terrible situation, pandemic, people, are YET talking about religion & casteism? Why? can’t you just grow up and act like civilized citizens. This is the reason I had written my previous blog. My morning starts by reading disgusting news:- “different COVID-19 treatment ward for Muslims”, “blaming one religion for the spread of this virus”, “Hindu leaders publicly announcing not to purchase vegetables from Muslim vendors.” And, then comes a further disgusting news of women rape and cruelty towards animals.

What is the point blaming a religion, it is becoming a Human tendency of being happy when others are sad, like sadistic, self-centric, selfish living beings. I only blame people for enjoying other’s trouble, if you understand the pattern, Media feeds what people like to watch, this is how TRP increases, yelling, shouting, fighting on-screen, viewers enjoy it. Hence reality shows like Big Boss gets the highest TRP (Television Rating Point). News channels are to be blamed for spreading hatred among people, religion & countries. Apparently, without thinking few “EDUCATED PEOPLE” get carried away with the News and tweet, they hurt religious sentiments and get deported (Hope you know what exactly I am referring to). Is this Journalism? Where are we headed to?

I, being a Hindu by birth. lived in United Arab Emirates (an Arab Country) for 2 decades. My kids were never asked about religion there, little did they know about RELIGION because we felt safe, were never discriminated, hated or treated differently. My son, who is born in U.A.E calls himself an “Emirati”. They were asked about religion when they started schooling in India. Nationalist would ADVISE me to go back without thinking that I am an Indian too. It’s their tendency as I have told you.

This is a message to young generation. Stop discriminating, think logically. Stop hatred, think wisely. “Every religion is here to Liberate us, People should first introspect their own religion without following it blindly”
